Renee brings over two decades of experience dedicated to advancing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs. She is an experienced health executive with a focus on empowering communities across the health, research and not-for-profit sectors.

Trisha Squires

Head of AFL Queensland

Trisha Squires is a passionate sport and community advocate with experience in senior leadership roles across the country. She also has extensive experience across commercial, philanthropic and community roles as Founder of the Broadbridge Fund, former CEO of Reach and former CEO of the St Kilda Youth Service.

Christopher Morrey


Associate Professor Morrey is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who has been living in Cairns for 25 years. He is a past President of the Australian Orthopaedic Association and past Chair of the Regional Orthopaedic Surgeons and Cultural and Inclusion Committees of the AOA.

Mike Fordham

With considerable experience in various senior leadership positions at national, state and regional levels, Mike has led the development and implementation of a range of government policies and programs in Indigenous Affairs Housing and Economic Development at the State and Federal level.

Jim Davis

On his Mother's side, Jim Davis is a descendant of the Daurareb tribe from Mer in the Torres Strait. On his Father's side it's a mix of Irish and German. Jim completed high school at Pimlico High in Townsville and has a Bachelor of Arts from Griffith University.

Malcolm Dotoi

Malcom is a descendant of the Kuku Yalanji People of the Western Sunset Clan, located north west of Cairns on his Mother’s side, and is of Papua New Guinean descent on his father's side.

Dean Warren

An outstanding Queensland servant of Australian football on and off the field, Dean enjoys the rare distinction of climbing to the top of the tree as a local player before becoming a senior member of the AFL management team, including CEO of AFL Queensland.
