AFL Cape York House boarding facilities are now available for hire in their entirety at two wonderful locations in Redlynch & Cairns City.
AFL Cape York House, ‘the House’, is a not-for-profit organisation developed for our young Australian Indigenous girls and boys to further their education, employment, and training needs in a culturally appropriate, safe, and secure residential environment to ensure every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Our vision is to invite companies, not-for-profit organisations, sporting groups, or even schools looking for a unique base camp by offering our boarding houses to be available during our Queensland school holiday periods.
Both houses are a unique, individual experience and come with their own special offerings which can be personally tailored to suit any group style, whether it be corporate or a sporting group.

Built-in 2013 and located a short 5-minute drive from the Cairns CBD, our AFL Cape York boarding house for boys has an extensive list of attributes. From a full-size sporting oval and an undercover basketball court to conference facilities and self-serve or catered full meal preparation areas with bedding for 54.
The accommodation booking provides access for our guests to all other facilities on the premises including a self-serve kitchen mess, basketball stadium, full-size sports oval, recreation room, and conference facilities.

The AFL Cape York House for Girls is located in the beautiful Redlynch Valley 15 minutes from the Cairns CBD. The girls’ facility offers a modern style abode with luxurious Far North Queensland comforts featuring an in-ground swimming pool and turf break-out area with flat-screen television around a campfire pit for the ultimate experience.
The accommodation booking provides access to our guests for all other facilities on the premises including pool, self-serve kitchen mess, basketball courts, outdoor firepit area including television.
