Melissa is an accomplished Learning & Organisational Development professional, instructional designer, trainer, facilitator, and author. She has over 20 years’ experience working across the Far North, Cape, Torres and Gulf regions, in sectors such as health, education and training, and sport and recreation. A former Australian and Queensland Athletics representative, Melissa brings the same discipline and drive to fostering continuous reinvention, immersive learning experiences, and high-impact solutions.
She is passionate about co-designing tailored strategies that empower organisations and individuals to thrive in times of change and uncertainty. Melissa has a strong interest in perception and cognitive neuroscience, design thinking and neurological disease research, which informs her approach to learning and organisational development. She is also a dedicated community volunteer, serving as Secretary for the Stratford Dolphins Football Club. Melissa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication (majoring in Public Relations). Melissa has cultural links to the Wombaya, Gudanji and Kalkadoon people.
